Traditional Korean Crown Prince's Royal Attire
During Korea's Joseon Dynasty, the king wore a royal robe known as a Gonryongpo (Royal Dragon Robe), traditionally red and decorated with dragon emblems. The Crown Prince, usually the king's son and designated successor to the throne, wore a blue Gonryongpo.
The king's dragon emblem featured five claws, while the Crown Prince's featured four claws. The royal attire was completed with an Okdae (Jade Belt) and an MangGun & Sangtu (Traditional Headpiece).
